Photogrammetry, Trusted Precision High-Fidelity 2D/3D Models Terra generates high-precision 3D models, point clouds, true digital orthophoto maps (TDOM), and digital surface models (DSM) from photos. Users can adjust 3D model mesh count and 2D map resolution, with support for various industry-standard export formats. High-Accuracy 1:500 Mapping Terra achieves centimeter-level mapping accuracy without ground control points by integrating data from DJI mapping drones equipped with RTK modules with intelligent algorithms. It supports 3D mesh models, point clouds, and 2D maps, with dedicated accuracy enhancements for DJI Enterprise mapping drones such as Matrice 4E. Terra consistently meets 1:500 mapping standards, including in complex environments. Fast, On-Site Results Terra can generate results on-site in real time for smaller projects. For 3D reconstruction, it processes up to 30,000 photos on a standalone workstation within three days, or 21 hours using cluster reconstruction. For 2D reconstruction, a standalone workstation processes 5,000 photos in under two hours, while cluster reconstruction reduces processing time to 80 minutes. LiDAR Reconstruction, Broad Applications 2D-3D Data Fusion-Based Modeling Terra integrates LiDAR and visible light data to generate high-precision point clouds, 2D maps, and 3D mesh models from a single Zenmuse LiDAR acquisition. This improves model completeness and detail in complex structures such as bridges and substations, supporting power, transportation, and infrastructure applications. Centimeter-Level Accuracy Using RTK and PPK positioning technologies, Terra processes Zenmuse LiDAR point cloud data with survey-grade, centimeter-level accuracy without ground control points. Rich Usage Scenarios Terra automatically generates waypoints and flight routes from points selected in a local 3D reality model, point cloud, or third-party point cloud. A simulated camera view helps with precise waypoint selection and flight planning for inspection workflows. Large-Scale Reconstruction Terra processes approximately 1 GB of LiDAR point cloud data per 1 GB of available RAM. A computer with 32 GB of RAM can process up to 120 GB of data, covering approximately 10 square kilometers. Workstations with 128 GB of RAM are supported for city-scale data processing. Multispectral Reconstruction for Agriculture Vegetation Index Maps Terra processes multispectral data from DJI Mavic 3 Multispectral and Phantom 4 Multispectral to generate vegetation index maps including NDVI and NDRE. Control Points and Check Points For visible light reconstruction, Terra supports importing and marking control and check points to calibrate models and point cloud data. Semi-automatic point picking provides sub-pixel accuracy in automatic recognition for Ground Control Point (GCP) marking. Check points can be used to verify reconstruction accuracy. Comprehensive Coordinate System Support Terra includes more than 8,500 built-in coordinate systems and supports local systems, seven-parameter transformations, and PRJ file imports. The system can recommend a coordinate system based on user location and supports customizable data exports. Annotation and Measurement Terra supports measurement of points, lines, areas, and volumes. Selecting a point on a 3D model displays the corresponding camera position and original images, allowing users to switch between the model and site imagery.
