This is a substantial, beautifully made sofa designed for luxurious everyday comfort, with an impressive 101.5” width and 72” seating area. ⸻ Design & Upholstery The Grande features substantial deep-buttoned arms, side panels and outer sections upholstered in thick quality genuine leather hide, giving the sofa its distinctive character and impressive presence. The leather has a deliberately relaxed, naturally aged appearance, with variations in tone and patina adding warmth and individuality to the piece. The generously sized seat cushions are upholstered in a lighter grey woven wool, providing a beautiful contrast against the leather surrounds. The seat cushions are finished with genuine leather piping made from the same thick leather hide used across the arms and panels, beautifully tying the contrasting materials together and providing an additional quality finishing detail. The exceptionally deep seating is complemented by a luxurious scatter-back arrangement of soft chenille cushions, creating a relaxed and extremely comfortable seating position. Contrasting dark blue accent cushions introduce additional depth to the colour palette, while the coordinating bolster cushions feature an attractive paisley design in light blue, navy blue and grey tones, adding another layer of texture and character. The thick genuine leather hide displays natural ageing, creasing, colour variation, occasional marks and areas of sun fading. There is noticeable sun fading to the leather, with one side having faded more than the other, resulting in variations in colour across the sofa. This is clearly shown within the photographs and contributes to the naturally aged and distressed character of the leather. The woven wool upholstery presents well overall, although there are a few pulls to the fabric. One area of the back upholstery has also had a previous stitched repair, and the stitching remains visible. This has been photographed clearly for complete transparency. The chenille scatter cushions and coordinating decorative cushions present well overall. Despite these cosmetic signs of previous use, this remains an extremely substantial, solid and exceptionally comfortable Tetrad sofa with many years of use ahead.
