Scottish Country House Retreat - March 2027

Join us in highland Perthshire for our inaugural knitting retreat. Accommodation is in Tulliemet House, a Georgian country house overlooking the Strathtay valley. Lovingly refurbished by the textile designer owner, pairing antique furniture with subtly luxurious modern touches and nods to the house's history. This will be a chance to unwind and indulge in some time for yourself. Imagine taking a seat by an open fire, to spend the afternoon knitting away, with great company who share your passion for the craft. Maybe you'll ease away your cares in the restorative yoga class or brave the outside world to relax in the sauna in the historic walled gardens. What's included: Lots of time to knit, chat around the fireside and enjoy our luxurious home for the week. All meals for the length of your stay cooked by our private chef plus home-baking for tea breaks. Accommodation in a historic Scottish country house that once welcomed Beatrix Potter Workshops on colour selection, and blocking & finishing. Chocolate making workshop where you'll make ganache truffles and passion fruit filled chocolates. Gentle yoga class with an experienced local teacher Art room with materials for sketchbooks & journalling (and guidance to get you started even if you think that you're not artistic) Wood-fired sauna session in the walled garden Pop-up shop with our favourite yarns, accessories and items dyed and crafted especially for the retreat. Food & Drink All meals will be provided by a private chef, making the most of local ingredients including from the surrounding regenerative farm. All meals are provided by our private chef Shona Sutherland, including: Welcome drinks & canapes on arrival* Breakfast, lunch and a two course dinner each day Three course dinner in the formal dining room for our final evening Glass of wine with evening meal* Tea, coffee & soft drinks Fruit bowl, home-made shortbread and cake available as snacks. * Non-alcoholic alternative will be available Allergies and most dietary requirements can be catered for. We will send you a questionnaire ahead of the retreat and will share details of your dietary requirements with our chef. Accommodation & Prices There are a selection of rooms to choose from, from the four-poster bed and grand ensuite of the Milton room, to cosy attic rooms with shared bathrooms. This will be the deposit for both people attending. First Floor Potter Room: £3250 for two ( £1625 per person) Garden Room: £3150 for two (£1575 per person) Second Floor Fern, Hope or Albert room: £2990 per room (£1495 per person) Booking A 30%, non-refundable deposit is due on booking. The balance of payment (70%) will be due by 30th November 2026. We will send you an invoice for the remaining balance within a few weeks of you booking. If you are booking a shared room, you will be responsible for the payment for the whole room. Please refer to the table below and the floorplans for more information about each room before booking. If you cancel after 30th November you will still be responsible for full cost of the retreat. If we manage to fill your place, then at our discretion we will refund what you have paid less any admin fees. If for any reason we have to cancel, you will receive a full refund of monies paid, but not for any addiontal costs incurred such as your transport. For this reason we strongly recommend that you have travel insurance in place when booking.
