ApexCrab™ is one of the cleanest crabapple trees you will ever plant. From the leaves to the fruit, the tree is spotless with impeccable disease resistance to all known apple tree diseases. The wonderful thing is, this tree is producing crabapples with a sharp, sweet flavor that start falling in very late October and continue through November here in the Northeast. The fruit is nice in size, about the size of a 50-cent piece, and overproductive. Setting great fruit for wildlife heavily on that one-year-old wood (wood that grew the previous year). Suitable for plant hardiness zones 5-8. Mature height will be 20’+.
