Vintage fencing jacket - 37” chest

A British white duck cotton fencing jacket, dating from the 1970s. Noted flaws - various ingrained marks throughout, no fastening form the the donkey tail, which can currently be fastening with a safety pin, some seam damage at the lower centre back and at the back collar, the centre back seam appears to have been taken in at some point, mismatched buttons, the right cuff button has cracked - please see photos. Great quality, freshly laundered, double lined at the front and throughout the right arm, thick duck cotton fabric, hand stitched and written names inside the collar, great construction, perfect as a costume, for display, wearing or for design reference, suitable for everyone. Measurements taken lying flat - Pit to pit - 18.5” (37” doubled) Shoulders - 15.5” Arms - 24” Length - 23” to hip, 26” to crotch Please check your measurements carefully!
