Applications Long working distance (lower magnifications) with the main lenses for Crafts: model-painting, hand-stitching, beading, general jewellery-making, fly-tying, crochet, leather stamping. Professional: electrical, art and antiques restorations on larger objects, lathe work with larger items, changing most watch batteries / straps. Higher magnifications (shorter working distances) with the main lenses for Crafts: antiques and DIY repairs, jewellery and general watch work (batteries and straps), hobby and crafts, electrical work. Professional: watch repairing (including changing very tiny batteries), small jewellery repairs/soldering, PCB inspection/micro-soldering, mould-making, lathe work with smaller items, painting miniatures, paintings and fabrics restoration. Highest magnifications with the auxiliary lens Instead of checking your work periodically with a jewellers loupe, it's handy to swing the auxiliary lens down for very close inspection, then flip it back out the way and continue working.
