Fanny Ceballos
Select roast profile (Drip or Espresso) based on your brew method. With over 15 years of experience working in the industry, Fanny Ceballos exemplifies the type of stalwart coffee producer for which Colombia is known. Her farm, Los Guaduales, is located in the high-altitude village of Alto Patico in Huila, and produces primarily Castillo and Colombia varieties on 2.5 hectares of land. As with many small farms, harvest time is a community affair, often relying on labor from relatives and neighbors. Special attention is given to picking cherries only at peak maturity, as well as sustainability, with coffee husks leftover from processing used for quarterly fertilizing. In the cup, look for notes of pear, guava, and roasted almond.
