Free Form Polychrome Jasper – Polished Display Specimen
A richly coloured polished free form specimen of Polychrome Jasper, hand-cut with a flat base for effortless display. Each piece is graded by weight, so dimensions will vary naturally, and the unique character of each stone — in colour, pattern, shape, and finish — means no two specimens are alike. Polychrome Jasper is a chert — a fine-grained variety of Quartz most commonly of biological origin, formed from the petrified remains of microscopic organisms on ancient sea floors, or from petrified wood. Its vivid, painterly bands of terracotta, ochre, cream, and sage green are a direct record of millions of years of geological layering, making each piece a genuinely ancient work of natural art. Associated with grounding and stability, Polychrome Jasper is also said to carry an energising quality — connecting the holder to the vitality of the earth itself. Natural variations in colour, pattern, shape, and finish are to be expected; every specimen is entirely unique and may differ from those pictured. Approximate weights: Small — 250g–500g | Medium — 501g–750g | Large — 751g–1000g
