The Electronic Rat Killer uses a baited internal chamber to attract rodents into the trap. Once the rodent enters and steps onto the internal metal plates, the circuit is completed and the trap delivers a high-voltage shock for fast, effective elimination. After activation, the unit switches to alert mode, using flashing indicators and a buzzer to let you know the trap has been triggered and is ready to be emptied. How to Use Power the unit off first before handling, baiting, or cleaning. We recommend always checking the switch is fully off before opening the trap. Open the cover and place a tiny amount of bait at the very back of the chamber using a cotton bud, spoon, or similar tool — never place bait with bare hands. Use a small amount only. A pea-sized amount is enough. Popular bait options include peanut butter, hazelnut spread, small pieces of processed meat, or dried fruit. Close the cover securely and switch the trap ON. Place the trap in a rodent pathway, such as along walls, in corners, garages, pantries, sheds, or other indoor areas where rodent activity has been noticed. Check the trap regularly, Once activated, the buzzer and lights will notify you. Empty and clean the trap by opening the cover and tipping the rodent directly into the bin.
