Eryngium eburneum La Pampa
Eryngium eburneum 'La Pampa' is a seed strain from Central Argentina, shared by Ohio plantsman, Curt Hanson. The spiky evergreen basal rosettes of glossy green leaves, are topped, starting for us in late June (NC), with sturdy 4' tall spikes of ivory flowers. We find these incredibly architectural in the summer garden. This collection is quite different from other collections we've offered before under that name, which turned out to be Eryngium horridum.
