Fettercairn 2010 | 12 Year Old Douglas Laing Premier Barrel Single Cask
Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Bottled by: Douglas Laing 70cl / 46% Distilled at Fettercairn in 2010 and matured for 12 years before being bottled by Douglas Laing for their Premier Barrel range. This Highland single malt was drawn from a single cask and bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration or added colouring. The release was limited to just 336 individually numbered ceramic decanters. Douglas Laing's Premier Barrel range takes inspiration from the traditional ceramic whisky decanters of the Victorian era, with each small-batch or single-cask release presented in a distinctive handmade ceramic bottle. Fettercairn is notable for its unusual still cooling system, which sees cold water run down the outside of the spirit stills during distillation. This encourages additional condensation and reflux within the still, helping to create the lighter, fruit-driven character associated with the distillery's spirit. Please Note: This bottle is a part of a large batch of bin-ends we recently picked up at a great price, enabling us to pass on savings to our customers. However, only one or two bottles of each product were included in the parcel - so when they’re gone they’re gone! Please note that due to the size and nature of this batch of stock, some labels and boxes may show signs of wear.
