Their story offers an interesting reminder: when we give nature space, some species can learn to thrive alongside us. But that possibility is not the same for every species. Some animals that were once common around us gradually disappear when their habitats, food sources, and safe spaces are lost. The peacock reminds us of both possibilities — the beauty of a species that has found room to flourish, and the responsibility we have to ensure others are given that same chance.
