This special model is based on a super rare black-based Chimayo rug jacket from around the 1930s-1940s, made even more special with leather paneling. The fabric is woven using the only existing jacquard loom in the Bishu region that can produce all-over patterns. (*This is the factory introduced in the JELADO channel's "Blanket" episode.) The material composition is 81% wool, 11% cotton, and 9% nylon. For the warp threads, 30-count double-ply combed cotton yarn is used, and by selecting heavy cotton, a firm handfeel is added. For the weft threads, a blend of Merino wool twisted with nylon is adopted, achieving both strength and flexibility. Furthermore, by using a four-layer weaving structure where the weft threads are interwoven in four layers, the fabric boasts overwhelming depth and three-dimensionality. The finishing process involves resin treatment after a natural finish. By giving the threads crispness and body, the jacket's three-dimensional form and presence are accentuated. For the collar, sleeves, patch pockets, and side adjusters, approximately 1.6mm thick, combination-tanned, tea-core horsehide, similar to 44 leather, is used. This paneling adds the power and allure unique to leather to the substantial feel of the rug. The front features a grommet zipper, and buckles are placed on the sides, emphasizing the rugged and vintage-like atmosphere through meticulous detailing. The silhouette is designed with wider shoulders and more room in the armholes and around the arms than previous models. While maintaining its powerful appearance, it has been updated to a size balance that adults can easily wear. Black-based Chimayo pattern, heavy four-layer woven fabric, and tea-core horsehide.
