Saint Jude was exiled to the moors by the Abbey for his dangerous magic, and when iconographer Maeve arrives to paint his icon, he suspects a spy. The truth is far more dangerous: Maeve carries the same tainted magic he does, and together they may hold the key to destroying the Abbey's power.
