"Tejas Ranch Knife in Mesquite Burl" This edge quenched, full tang blade is forged from 1084 high carbon steel. This blade is etched to show the blades hamon/quench lines and is fully etched, tang and all. The forge marked/acid soaked flats add contrast and a beveled spine and corners add comfort, this blade also has a thumb rise for better control. This blade has a 3 7/8" cutting edge and is 8 5/8" overall, weighing in at 8.3 oz. The handle scales are A-grade Mesquite Burl wood done in my "palm swell" style with blue/grey G-10 tang liners. The handle scales are secured with copper handle bolts, has a mosaic accent pin and an expose lanyard hole/pommel end. This knife comes with a border tooled and two-toned leather pouch sheath with a matching tooled belt loop by Gerald Harper, Saddle Mountain Leather.
