Details: These Gabriella Kiss’s one-of-a-kind earrings hold a set of gorgeous, natural dendritic agates, backed in sterling silver for added luminosity, set in brushed 18k gold. Finished with arching crescent details, they are beautiful, versatile, and easy to wear with a t-shirt and jeans, or a cocktail dress. Dendritic agates, often called picture or moss agates, are chalcedony (a pale milky color variety in the agate family) veined with trace metals of iron ore. The agates form in nodules left behind in ancient volcanic lava rocks and the heat and the pressure over thousands of years cause the formation of these beautiful natural-looking landscape or snowflake-like patterns. No two dendritic agates are exactly alike, and we adore these beautiful and singular gemstones! Measurements: The total length of the earrings is 1 1/4". The dendritic agates are 3/4" tall by 5/8".
