Pair of Coiled Rattan Bonacina Mirrors

A pair of oval wall mirrors in bent and coiled bamboo cane, in the manner of Vittorio Bonacina, Italy, circa 1960s. Each mirror plate is set within a double cane surround, encircled by a border of tightly coiled cane loops forming a sunburst or “spring” pattern, characteristic of Bonacina’s rattan and cane work of the period. The frames have a warm honey-gold patina to the cane, consistent with age. Sold as a pair.
