Time in a Bottle With Tama (Cliff) Swain-Salomon Sunday September 6th, 10-5pm In-person Only $195 for Members $210 for non-members Skill level: Intermediate/ Advanced Prerequisites: CRAW, RAW, Peyote Description: There is nothing more precious than the gift of time and spending it with those we love. Tama was inspired by the lyrics of the Jim Croce song: "If I could make days last forever If words could make wishes come true I'd save every day like a treasure, and then...Again, I would spend them with you." The soft curves of this piece look like an hourglass-shaped bottle. This necklace is a nod to the Art Nouveau period and sparkles like crazy! The piece is made to look like bead embroidery even though it is all woven using a blend of CRAW, PRAW, RAW, and Peyote. A materials kit is included with the class. The focal is a 16mm Swarovski Vision Stone which is surrounded by rhodium plated Preciosa cupchain. In addition there are 13 Swarovski crystals and 77 Swarovski pearls, a shimmer 8mm Swarovski chaton, plus a platinum plated/crystal Claspgarten clasp. Please bring: beading tools such as pliers, scissors, beading mat, etc. Other Details: Stitches used: CRAW, PRAW, RAW, Peyote, Albion A tutorial bracelet project with Peyote Stitch can be found on Caravan Beads' website here: www.caravanbeads.com/blog/Peyote-Triangle-Waves-Bracelet And a RAW (Right Angle Weave) tutorial here: www.caravanbeads.com/blog/Right-Angle-Weave Refund Policy: This class is non-refundable.
