STEIFF Teddy Baby Hand Puppet ~ 1952-53 Early Model!

And this puppet is very special not only by is endearing baby-like expression with glass eyes but also because it is an early model, with the rare old style chest tag in red letters. Little Teddy also wears a rare blue silk bow. As other toys of the time, it was expertly crafted in Germany circa 1952-53 and uses premium mohair plush. Teddy has been used but is still in very good condition, with Steiff trade's mark button in ear and nice coloring.
