Beginning Triaxial Fabric Weaving

Learn to weave fabric strips into a table decoration or woven section for anything you like. This beginning triaxial weaving class will walk you through the basic steps. Using your own fabric, you'll weave a fabric panel approximately 12" x 12" and then finish the sewing project at home. $35 advance plus $35 kit fee. You will not receive a paper ticket in the mail. This hands-on workshop will take place at the Spark Hotel Badger meeting room (2110 Rimrock Rd.), which is adjacent to the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center. It is approximately a 5-minute walk from the front lobby of the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center to the Spark Hotel. There is a connector gate between the two buildings, so you will not need to go outside. A map and directions will be emailed to you and is also available on our website.
