Arklow Set 6 Creamer — Vintage Irish Pottery, 1970s

Made by Arklow Pottery in County Wicklow, Ireland — gathered on the east coast, a little south of where most of this collection comes from. A 1970s speckled cream creamer banded in olive and avocado green, that unmistakable mid-century palette. The oatmeal-flecked glaze and scalloped edge are pure Irish kitchen — the kind of small, useful thing that lived on a thousand breakfast tables and is getting harder to find stateside. Pour the morning cream from something with fifty years of mornings already in it. Marked Arklow "Set 6," Made in Ireland, on the base. Approx. 5" tall. Condition: very good vintage. One tiny spot of paint loss where an old price sticker was lifted — honest age, nothing structural, no chips, cracks, or crazing. Found in a Wicklow charity shop and carried home. One of a kind in this shop — when it's gone, it's gone.
