This specific lot was grown in the mountains of Medan, a city in the North East of the island. Made up of Ateng, Garundang, and Catimor varieties, this lot was wet-hulled, and then completely sun dried. Screen size sorting was done after the coffee was hauled to remove any beans smaller than screen size 14. This lot is “double picked”, which is a classification within grade 1 coffees from Sumatra.
