These energetic bottom-dwellers are a distinct color morph of the Bronze Cory, prized for their bright pinkish-white bodies and glowing red eyes. They spend most of their day sifting through the substrate in search of leftover morsels, acting as a natural cleanup crew for the lower levels of your tank. Because they are highly social, they feel most secure when kept in a group of six or more. You will often see them huddled together or darting to the surface for a quick gulp of air before wiggling back down to the sand. They are peaceful enough for almost any community setup and provide constant motion near the bottom. Prefers a soft sand substrate to protect their delicate sensory barbels from abrasion. Thrives in a wide range of water parameters but appreciates consistent temperatures between 72-78°F. Accepts a variety of sinking pellets, wafers, and frozen treats like bloodworms or brine shrimp. Ensure the tank has an open surface area so they can perform their natural intestinal breathing behavior.
