This native Efik air from Cross River State, Nigeria, was traditionally sung in local churches and adapted in 2021 to address the lack of native choral music in southern Nigeria. Performed first by The Royal Fatherland Music Ensemble, the piece can be presented with or without percussion accompaniment, and it can include bodily movements to enhance the performance.
