Maridenim Murros Coat Brown

EDITOR'S NOTE The Marimekko Maridenim Murros Coat Brown is made of non-stretch cotton denim. The jacket has a relaxed fit, and it features the embroidered Unikko flower and the Marimekko logo on the left chest. It has a button closure, button chest pockets with flaps, and side list pockets. The jacket has yoke seams in the front and back, button tabs at the back hemline, and cuffed sleeves with button closures. The jacket features Marimekko jean buttons. Maridenim products have a special finishing and patina that give each piece a unique, distinctive character. This feature is part of the charm and appeal of Maridenim products. The jean jacket is garment dyed, meaning small color differences between products may appear. Marimekko Maridenim products are designed following the Jeans Redesign guidelines of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, the world’s leading network on circular economy. According to the guidelines, the denim material is monomaterial cotton (100% organic cotton) with no elastane. Marimekko Maridenim is made with minimal use of hardware, including the use of removable buttons and no rivets. The washing, finishing, and use of chemicals also follow the guidelines. To produce the colors, patterns, and desired feel of the products, we use, for example, laser technology, E-Flow steam washing, and ozone washing, instead of, for example, traditional stone washing.
