OSB Bracing
OSB Bracing is an Oriented Strand Board (OSB) structural panel manufactured from cross-oriented wood strands bonded with synthetic resin, engineered specifically for wall and roof bracing in residential timber-framed construction. H2 treatment provides full cross-sectional termite resistance, making it suitable for use across all regions of Australia, including north of the Tropic of Capricorn. As a three-layered, flat-pressed panel, OSB Bracing offers consistent structural properties throughout, resisting splitting and delamination under load. Its moisture-resistant surface provides good dimensional stability in service conditions, and the lightweight construction makes it straightforward to cut, nail, screw and drill on site. Treatment: H2 (AS/NZS 1604.2) Standard: EN 300:2006 OSB Formaldehyde: Low emission, meets E1 standard Applications: Structural wall bracing and roof bracing in residential timber-framed construction. If you're after a plywood-based bracing solution, Plyco also stocks Hardwood Braceply with F22 structural rating.
