Guest requirements -Age restriction: 7 yrs+ -Since we are dealing with nature, it is not 100% guaranteed to meet animals. -Unlike large ships, cruisers used for tours are susceptible to waves and will sway, so please be careful when moving around the ship. - You may get splashed by waves while the boat is moving. -Please note that you will be responsible for damage to your belongings such as cameras due to splashing waves, damage due to the shaking of the ship, and loss in the sea. -Departure time and travel time may vary slightly depending on sea conditions. Due to rough seas or other unfavorable conditions, we may be unable to depart and may have to cancel the tour. If the captain decides to cancel the tour before it begins, no fee will be charged, and a full refund will be issued. -Please note that if the tour has to be turned back midway due to sudden weather changes, no refund will be given. -Check-in is required 45 minutes before cruise departure time at the Cruise Office. There is a toilet at the meeting point in the fishing port, so please use it before departure. - The sea around Rausu is very cold, and the weather can change suddenly. Please take precautions against the cold and water. - There are no convenience stores or restaurants around Aibetsu. (The nearest town with convenience stores is about a 30-minute drive away.) What to bring • Clothing that can get wet • Warm clothing -In Rausu, there are many days when the temperature does not reach 20°C even in the middle of summer, and the sea feels even colder. Please take measures against the cold such as preparing a jacket before boarding the boat. -If you are worried about seasickness, please prepare your own medicine to prevent seasickness. Safe and Secure We are covered by the domestic recreational insurance. Please fill in the name, address, contact phone number and date of birth of everyone in the participant list before the tour. The hull, engine, and communication equipment are maintained year-round by professionals. - Three captains, each with over 40 years of experience as fishermen off the coast of Rausu and over 30 years of experience as captains, are currently operating the vessel. - Regular safety training is conducted for employees to ensure they are prepared to respond in emergencies. 4. Cancellation policy [Cancellation charges] ‐7 days before the tour start time: 50% ‐3 days before the tour start time: 75% ‐On the day of the tour: 100% -You can cancel up to 7 days in advance of the experience for a full refund. For a full refund, you must cancel at least 7 days before the experience’s start time. ‐If you cancel less than 7 days before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded. ‐Any changes made less than 7 days before the experience’s start time will not be accepted. ‐Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time. ‐This tour requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund. ‐This tour requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
