Jauma Lilies Old Vine Grenache

A big, bold expression of Grenache, sourced from the old vines owned by Karen and Peter Cahill, and farmed by Fiona Wood in McLaren Flat. An extended maceration on skins before being pressed to barrel. Lots of ripe red fruits come through, with a brooding spice alongside it. On the palette, it has generosity while still sitting surprisingly lower in alcohol than expected, with its riper red fruit notes deliciously dominating.
