Johnny Smith Double Pickguard

Made here at 1929 Pickguards, we have a replacement pickguard for the Gibson Johnny Smith Double pickup archtop. This is one of the few guards I offer with screw holes pre-drilled. Let me know if you need any special configuration. These guards are a dark tortoiseshell acrylic material with 5-ply White and Black binding. They are made using a vintage factory Gibson pickguard as reference. I can also cut any pickup slots at your request for a fee. These are made for the Johnny Smith model, but will fit Gibson L-5C, L-7C, Epiphone Emperor Regent, D'Angelico Excel, and similar cutaway archtop guitars. These guards are made-to-order, and the current build time is 1-3 weeks. I ship my guards undrilled to match all applications (typically). Each guard is fully cut and polished by hand. Material pattern will vary between each guard. I use two layers to create the thickest outer binding layer, as Epiphone and Gibson have done. I find it lasts longer this way.
