This is a simple, effective two-layer system that focuses on drainage, aeration, and long-term root health. The structure of this mix allows your plants to stay healthy and stable for longer periods before needing to be transplanted again. Layer 1 (Bottom Layer): 3 QT Tanasi’s custom super soil blend combining ProMix, Bonsai Jack, and a balanced sand mix. This base layer provides structure, moisture retention where needed, and proper airflow to support strong root development. Layer 2 (Top Layer): 2 QT A clean Bonsai Jack succulent mix that promotes excellent drainage and helps prevent overwatering around the base of the plant. This layer keeps things light, breathable, and easy to manage. Optional Top Dress (Layer 3): 2 QT For those who want to finish it off, an additional beach sand blend or decor pebbles/ rocks, can be added as a top dressing for both function and appearance.
