Tres Triangles – Limited Edition Archival Monochrome Ink Print

Archival ink on paper, 2025 — 11.7 × 16.5 in | 29.7 × 41.9 cm Tres Triangles began life as Très Très Triangles — very, very triangles. The title was shortened, but the original impulse remained: not just triangles, but an emphatic, almost obsessive commitment to them. A surface fractured entirely along geometric fault lines, each fragment filled with dense parallel line work, each one catching the light differently as the line direction shifts from form to form. What began as a geometric study became something more consuming — a shattered plane that reads like origami folded and refolded until the original sheet is unrecognisable. The black triangles punctuate the field like voids, giving depth to what might otherwise be flat. Two small cross marks float within the composition — registration points, perhaps, or simply the places where the hand paused and left its mark. This monochromatic work rewards time. The longer you look, the more the surface shifts — now architectural, now crystalline, now simply line upon line upon line, each one placed by hand.
