OUR TAKE The Orion 331 is Nomos at their most stripped-back — 35mm, hand-wound Alpha, white dial, no date, nothing on the dial that doesn't earn its place. The small seconds sub-dial has a concentric guilloche texture you only catch in certain light, and at 8.3mm thick it basically disappears on the wrist. This suits smaller wrists and anyone who wants a proper German dress watch without the volume. Worth knowing: the original velvet strap has some wear, but it comes with a spare Nomos Horween shell cordovan strap that's in better shape. 3 ATM means it's splash-proof, not swim-proof.
