Garlic Jar - Original Painting on Paper

Garlic Jar- Original Painting on Paper Garlic Jar, This is a still life using a clay garlic pot we keep on the counter. I love the shape of it. this painting was an experiment where I painted the paper orange and then added gouache. This piece took longer to create but I think the process gave it extra depth and dimension. Daily Challenge: This daily art process involve trying out some new art supplies like gouache and mixed media. I've spent years using acrylic paint. In this daily challenge I experiment with a few different mixed mediums and methods. Playing keeps creativity alive and exciting!!!
