This lightweight, elegant necklace brings together centuries of craft — rare ancient glass and stone beads from the West African trade routes, a ceramic Pre-Columbian amulet, and handcrafted sterling silver and metal beads. Measures 20" with a 1.7 inch drop for the central pendant. At the heart of the necklace is a Pre-Columbian spindle whorl pendant, adorned with a classic circle-dot motif, sourced by Rita in the early 1980's for use in her own designs.
