American Airlines currently operates 20 wide-body Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The aircraft has seats divided Into 4 classes and may accommodate 304 passengers. The aircraft features personal Audio Video On Demand (AVOD) and personal 11 0v power ports throughout each class. The aircraft has eight fully flat, office-style Flagship First seats, each with direct aisle access and more space, 52 fully flat Flagship Business seats, 28 premium economy recliner-style seats, and 216 economy seats. The aircraft offers fully lie-flat seats with all-aisle access, international Wi-Fi, and state-of-the-art in-seat entertainment. American Airlines has been updating its aircraft livery with a new, environmentally friendly paint color called Silver Eagle"". This non-mica gray paint is lighter, which will increase fuel-efficiency, and will be better for the environment. By moving to Silver Eagle, American's fleet of airplanes will burn approximately 1 million fewer gallons of fuel per year, reducing carbon emissions by 9,525 metric tonnes annually once the entire fleet is repainted. This model, bearing registration number N721 AN and fleet number 7LE, was the first Boeing 777-300ER in the airline's fleet to undergo this repaint.
