Vintage Japanese Ceramic Wabi Sabi Shigaraki Wall Vase

Vintage Shigaraki ware squat form wall vase. Featuring a reddish course body created from the reaction of ash and fire in traditional wood fired kilns. With subtle grey green glaze drips typical of the Shigaraki style. Called a Kake Hanaire, this wall hung vase can sit perfectly well on its bottom, or be hung on the wall from its ring. Includes a bamboo insert for Ikebana and flower arranging. Found in our recent trip to Kyoto in May 2026 Measurements 9.5cm tall x 11cm wide
