Wood Burned Blocks

Three solid wood blocks, grain drawn onto them by hand with a wood burner. Two are still available; the third has sold. The grain isn't the wood's own — it's invented. Every line is burned into the surface, wrapping around all four faces and closing into rings on the end grain. Burning leaves carbon behind. So does ink — traditional drawing ink is carbon black, soot suspended and bound. Burning the line straight into the wood reaches the same black by a shorter road, making the pigment and the mark in the same moment. Each block is signed and dated on the end: SUPER EXTRA FANCY, 2026, with the seal. Tall Block — Eye — an eye opens where the burned grain converges mid-face, with concentric rings on the top end. 1.75 × 3.5 × 10". Small Block — Grain — no eye. The line runs as one closed maze across every face, with a bullseye on the top end. 1.5 × 3 × 5". Small Block — Eye — sold. One of a kind. Sold as-is, ready to stand on a shelf.
