When you put an engineer in the backcountry for long enough, their thoughts eventually end up designing their perfect ski. With Quinn sharing the dimensions that had been percolating in his mind, and his very articulate description of how he wanted the ski to feel underfoot, the Back Forty was born. At 104 underfoot with a lightweight core and Mito added for extra energy and dampness, we threaded the needle between dancing up the skin track and charging down!
