Handsome Victorian Horseshoe Back Chair c1890

We have a handsome and well scaled late Victorian horseshoe backed occasional / desk chair which due to its size could work in a number of spaces throughout the home. It's a highly attractive piece with well turned spindles and front legs which sit on the original brass and pot castors. The upholstery is a dusky salmon pink strie velvet which is age worn in places but perfectly usable with good tight springs and traditional filling. Mark our upholsterer could reupholster for £480 plus vat and you would require 3 metres of fabric which we can assist in finding if you wish. Condition of the frame is good with tight springs, no movement in the legs/frame and no repairs - a nice aged finish to the timber with historic aging in the right places.
