Maidenhair Vine

Muehlenbeckia complexa — the maidenhair vine — is the great softener. A dense cloud of wiry, near-black stems and tiny round leaves that spills, mounds and weaves wherever you let it: over the edge of a planter, along a shelf, at the feet of a statement tree.This is the plant our designers reach for constantly — it's the finishing texture in many of our installations, sold here at generous size as a full, established mound rather than a sparse young plant.Best space & place. Remarkably versatile — bright indoors, or outdoors year-round in milder spots; it's semi-evergreen and shrugs off London winters. Sun or part shade.Watering. Keep evenly moist — it's thirstier than it looks, and will crisp if forgotten, then usually forgive you and reshoot.Decorative pot not included, available separately.
