Shimenawa Bangle 2027 Model｜Thick All Silver925 Standard Model A wearable work, crafted by a sculptor. This Silver925 bangle is crafted based on the structure of a traditional Japanese shimenawa (sacred rope) — the rope itself, the shide (paper streamers), and the tassels. It draws on a roughly 3-meter-tall arm sculpture exhibited at Shimogamo Shrine. That sculpture depicted a real shimenawa wrapped around the wrist, with shide hanging down — and this bangle reimagines that image in a form you can wear on your own arm. "A god dwells in my arm." "A god dwells in what my hands create." It is made with that sense of pride and prayer. About the 2027 Model For the 2027 Model, we revisited the previous 4-charm composition and evolved it into a structure closer to that of a true shimenawa. The Thick model consists of 2 shide and 3 tassel-style plates, for a total of 5 charms. The shide have been redesigned with the sharp, crisp silhouette closer to that of the original first-generation model. Every charm is also engraved on the back with the artist's kaō (signature seal). The rope's commanding, substantial presence, paired with shide and tassels that sway with the movement of the wrist — the weight and luster unique to solid silver bring out the shimenawa's power in an even more sculptural way. About the Standard All-Silver Model This model is a Standard All-Silver piece, with the bangle body, shide, and tassel charms all crafted from Silver925. Unlike the Brass × Silver model, unifying the entire piece in silver creates a calmer, more substantial impression. The Thick model is the most powerful piece in the series, one where you can truly feel the presence of the rope itself. It's crafted not simply as an accessory, but as a small sculpture worn on the wrist. *The Limited Custom Model, in which the rope pattern is hand-carved piece by piece, is a limited item sold exclusively through the Asanoya Kenichi EC site.
