Medium-weight silk habotai scarf with Seaweed Imagery going across the width. COLOUR: • Blue and white The seaweed used to print this scarf was scavenged from the edges of the beach at Sandy Cove in Dún Laoghaire. It was not picked from growing seaweed. Seaweed type: Bladderwrack = Fucus vesiculosus SHAPE: • Rectangular with hand-rolled edges. SIZE: • When laid flat, the scarf measures approximately 14" / 35 cm wide by 72"/ 182.8 cm long. • It's a MEDIUM-weight silk habotai scarf - 8 momme. Due to the fabric's thickness, there is a 'front' and a 'back' to this scarf. The front side has a stronger and darker blue-coloured Cyanotype print. • Size - Fits most people.
