They have elastic at the ankles and snaps that can adjust the fit at the waist. The foot elastic prevents the pants from riding up. The softskin fabric is smooth, soft and does not stick to the skin. The fabric remains soft even in the cold making it more comfortable. The Softskin rain pants with bib can grow with the child because of the adjustable shoulder straps and the side snaps that adjust the width. BMS's pants with shoulder straps are very adaptable to meet the weather changes. They can easily be worn on their own over sweaters and wool jackets when the weather warms allowing freer play. Although one piece suits in theory are great they can overheat and are not as versatile. With a bib pant there is less chance of overheating while keeping the water and mud on the outside and the warm and dry inside. BMS latex pants have a POLYURETHANE coating and no dangerous plastics are used. The pants are made from Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification fabric that has been tested and certified to be free from harmful levels of more than 100 substances known to be harmful to human health.
