Brazilian Jazblu Peaberry

Jazblu Peaberry comes from the Planalto da Bahia region and sourced from a small cluster of farmers who carefully selected this peaberry. While most producers in Brazil stick to natural or pulped natural processing, this peaberry is a washed coffee. This allows for a more robust flavor of the region it comes from reflecting the microclimate and region’s diversity. Peaberry is a unique bean that forms when only one of the two seeds in a coffee cherry develops creating a smaller, rounder bean. This creates a sweeter bean as many the sugar coumpounds accumulate in one bean instead of two.
