This brown leather Model 3475 Eames Time Life Executive Lobby Chair designed by Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller was produced in 2017. This classic mid century modern desk chair features original brown leather upholstery. The comfortable, contoured ergonomic design features thick, plush cushions, 360 degree swivel seat, adjustable height and backrest tilt and five-star polished aluminum base with rolling carpet casters. An iconic and collectible desk chair; perfect for home or office. Eames Office Herman Miller logo plaque and stickers to underside. An adaptation of the commissioned "Lobby Chairs" for the Time Life building in New York, the 1960 release of the Time Life Lounge Chair brought the chair to the broader public of homes, offices, conference rooms and lobbies all over the US and internationally. Model 3475 introduced later in the 1960s has the width and laid back comfort and swivel of the 675 model with added height and tilt adjustability. CONDITION Very good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use, including general surface marks and scuffs. Some wear, fraying and minor loss to leather edges of armrests, especially right side. Some wear to leather button covers.
