A quiet Sunday evening with nowhere to be and all the time in the world to watch the sun go down. I sat for a while, taking in the drifting clouds and the soft lavender colours filling the sky, letting myself linger in the peacefulness of it all. I don’t slow down for moments like this nearly often enough, but painting gives me a way to return to them. With every soft brushstroke and layer of colour, I wanted to capture the calm and beauty of that heavenly evening sky and share a little of that feeling with you.
