ABOUT THE COFFEE This batch of coffee cherries was grown by 30 farmers from the Uraga district, Sonkole Kalato processing station, in the Guji region. The farmers mainly cultivate the 74110 and 74112 varieties. For natural sustainability, the coffee trees are grown under the shade of the original forest canopy. The high altitude ensures the slow ripening of the cherries and the complexity of their flavors. Fully ripe, red cherries are hand-picked and delivered to the local processing station.
