The freestanding BS25 bioclimatic pergola features a motorised louvered roof, integrated drainage and built-in LED lighting. The roof louvers can be adjusted from 0° to 100°, allowing you to regulate sunlight, shade and natural airflow. When closed, the louvers form a protective roof surface, while rainwater is directed through the integrated gutter system. Partially closing them creates comfortable shade, while the closed position helps protect the area beneath the pergola from rain. The roof is operated by a motorised system. Depending on the control equipment used, the system supports operation by remote control or through an app. Integrated rainwater drainage Water from the closed roof is directed into the integrated gutters and towards the drainage outlets. The drainage system is concealed within the structure, preserving the pergola’s clean architectural appearance. The pergola is an open outdoor structure rather than a fully enclosed room. Some water may enter during strong winds, driving rain or exceptionally heavy rainfall. Delivery and self-assembly The pergola is delivered flat-packed in four packages. The longest package is approximately 291 cm, so suitable delivery access and sufficient space for safe unloading must be provided. Installation is not included. The product is designed for self-assembly. An assembly video is available. The pergola must be installed on a level, stable and sufficiently load-bearing base and correctly anchored. Several people are required because of the size and weight of the components. The electrical connection for the motor and LED lighting should be completed by a suitably qualified person. Warranty A 5-year warranty applies to exterior colour fading of the Akzo Nobel powder coating, subject to the warranty conditions. The five-year warranty relates to colour fading of the external coating. It does not represent a five-year warranty for the motor, LED lighting or every pergola component. Frequently asked questions Is the pergola completely waterproof? The closed louvers and integrated gutters are designed to protect against normal rainfall. Complete dryness cannot be guaranteed during strong winds or driving rain. Is the rain sensor included? No. The rain sensor is an optional accessory sold separately. Are ZIP screens and louvered walls included? No. They are separate compatible products. Can I assemble the pergola myself? Yes. An assembly video is available. Several people are required because of the size and weight of the structure. What is the delivery time? The lead time is 15 working days from receipt of the order.
