About This Extract Perilla Seed Oil-Soluble Extract concentrates the unsaponifiable seed fraction — phytosterols, tocopherols and polyphenols — from Perilla frutescens seed into a carrier oil. Cold-pressed perilla oil is the bulk triglyceride and is specified on its alpha-linolenic content; this grade is not. Perilla leaf, the perillaldehyde source, is a different organ entirely. Used in facial oils and emollient oil bases. Available from 500 g with no minimum order quantity.
