Liner Absorbency All pads in this section are Liner absorbency, holding up to 20ml — roughly the equivalent of 3–5 tampons. They are ideal for light menstrual flow, spotting, discharge and light bladder leaks. Simply choose the shape, top fabric and length that suit you, and let us make the rest. When choosing absorbency, it is important to understand that reusable cloth pads do not use the chemical stay-dry layers often found in disposable products. Instead, we create a drier-feeling pad by using the right level of absorbency: generally, the more absorbent the pad, the less moisture you will feel against your skin. Some brands describe 20ml as “heavy” absorbency. At TCS-eco, we do not believe this reflects a genuine heavy-flow option unless a product includes a stay-dry layer similar to those used in many disposables. The key thing to know about TCS-eco is that our products are designed as a genuine direct swap for disposables. We follow the same absorbency guidance used for disposable products, rather than creating our own labels without a clear standard.
